JOB DESCRIPTION
ABOUT THE ROLE

Join our team and experience a rewarding and challenging work environment with skilled and supportive teammates. We are currently accepting resumes from dedicated and energetic individuals who are looking for a position as a Detailer at our Calmont Leasing Location in Calgary.

As a Detailer, your primary responsibility is to clean and refurbish new and used automobiles. You will be able to work unsupervised or with minimal supervision. Some job duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Apply wax to auto body, and wipe or buff surfaces to protect surfaces and preserve shine, using cloth or buffing machine.
  • Vacuum interiors of vehicles to remove loose dirt and debris. Clean upholstery, rugs, and other surfaces, using cleaning agents, applicators, and cleaning devices.
  • Apply revitalizers and preservatives to vinyl or leather surfaces and treat fabrics with spot and stain resistant chemicals to preserve and protect interior components.
  • Clean engine and engine compartment with steam cleaning equipment and various cleaning agents to remove grease and grime. Apply special purpose cleaners to remove foreign materials which do not respond to normal cleaning procedures, utilizing experience and following recommendations of product manufacturer
  • Paint engine components and related parts, using spray gun or aerosol can and masking material. Apply paint to chipped body surfaces of vehicle.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of related experience.
  • Valid Class 5 Drivers License is required.
  • Valid Class 2 or 3 Drivers License considered an asset.
  • Self-starter with the ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
