ABOUT THE ROLE
Join our team and experience a rewarding and challenging work environment with skilled and supportive teammates. We are currently accepting resumes from dedicated and energetic individuals who are looking for a position as a Mobile Lube Technician at our Calmont Leasing location in Edmonton, AB.

The primary function of the Mobile Lube Technician is to assist and support the Service Technicians, Mechanics, Shop Foreman and Service Manager with maintenance of shop, equipment, tools, yard, and vehicles as well as routine servicing of vehicles while meeting company safety and operational objectives. Some of the duties of the Mobile Lube Technician include, but are not limited to :

  • Completes routine oil changes as scheduled
  • Travel to and from various sites
  • Perform field level hazard assessments
  • Completes assigned preventative maintenance tasks as scheduled
  • Cleans and organizes company’s tools and equipment and ensures all are accounted for.
  • Reports any faulty or defective equipment and tools to Shop Foreman.
  • Advises management of any conditions that may be hazardous to customers and/or employees.
  • Disposes of failed and replaced material and parts per company procedures and instructions given.
  • Maintains the cosmetic appearance of all units being worked on; i.e. seat covers, wiping grease from cab, etc.
  • Saves and tags old parts for Shop Foreman and customer’s inspection as instructed by Journeyman Technicians.
  • May assist with minor building maintenance such as replacing light bulbs, tire changes etc

JOB REQUIREMENTS
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Valid Class 5 Drivers License (standard) is required.
  • Valid Class 3 Drivers License considered an asset.
  • First Aid is an asset.
  • Mechanical aptitude is an asset
  • Self-starter with the ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be comfortable driving large vehicles and trucks.
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
  • Ability to work alone with little supervision.
